How long are the queues to the Alhambra palace in September, Also do the ticket machines take Lazer or Maestro Cards at the ATM dispenser since Caixo took over this August.

just so you know, the majority of people reserve their tickets online, so that queue is usually longer.

The lines are long no matter the time of year but you'd find them longest in the summer. September, they'll be less long but still long.

While you cannot bypass the lines by buying your entry tickets online, you can certainly decrease your waiting time in line by getting in the pre-reserved/online line by buying online. The just-walk-up-and-hope-to-get-in line is enormous and often people get turned away because only so many entry tickets can be sold for each hour block.

Not sure about the ticket machines yet but you'd have better chances with Maestro than Lazer (never heard of this one).

Only a limited number of people are allowed into the Alhambra each day, so theres every chance tickets will be sold out by the time you get there. I've just done a dummy booking for 23 Sept and found only 77 tickets are available for the morning, but over 700 for the afternoon. By online from: http://www.servicaixa.com/nws/jsp/session.jsp;jsessionid=L2B9vy9s02pnJ2WJFjcsL7SyvxlTglpDdf0vR5rtVD7Jr1tQBv2j!-55468826!-322499464?control=serviticket.sis.servlets.hSrvRecinte&codTipusEvent=0&codRecinte=09OZ&codPoblacio=152&idiomaAnterior=CAS&idioma=ING&CODIUSU=P055AL07

Get your tickets online if you possibly can.

I don't know about the machines. But you can bypass the lines by buying online.
